The best way to study a map of Fiji Islands is to start with Nadi International Airport, on the main island of Viti Levu. This is where tourists from Australia will land, and the point from which you fan out across Fiji to your holiday destination.
The two main holiday destinations on Viti Levu are Denarau Island (about 30 minutes by road) and the Coral Coast (1-2 hours depending on where you are staying).
The destination opportunities outside of the main island are almost limitless and include the Mamanuca (west of Viti Levu) and Yasawa (north of Viti Levu) islands chains and, northeast of Viti Levu, Fiji’s second largest island Vanua Levu, which is home to the popular tourist spot of Suvasuva.
Depending on which island you are transferring to, transport options include water taxi, ferry, seaplane and helicopter.
