Location

Port Douglas is 70 km north (approx 1 hour drive) north of Cairns Airport, along a spectacular scenic and coastal drive on the Captain Cook Highway.

Room Facilities

Cayman Villas feature generous living areas, large tropical balconies, comfortable king and/or twin beds, air-conditioning and ceiling fans, fully-equipped kitchens with granite bench tops and spa bath in the master bathroom – everything you need to make your holiday in Port Douglas a memorable experience.

The large villas are of understated elegance, with their tropical shutters and broad terraces, terracotta-tiled floors, timber furnishings featuring contemporary soft furnishings, and smart granite bench tops and stainless steel kitchen appliances. Most villas are equipped with a spa bath, the two and three bedroom villas have two bathrooms and all units have their own laundry.

One Bedroom Apartment: A fully self-contained luxury 1 bedroom apartment. All apartments have king or twin beds, large kitchens boasting granite bench tops, dishwashers, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, fully equipped laundry and ensuite bathroom. Some rooms feature a spa bath on request only, otherwise the bathroom features separate shower and bath or shower over bath.

Two Bedroom Apartment: The 2 bedroom apartments are fully air-conditioned and have self-contained facilities including an open plan kitchen and lounge room. Bedrooms have king or twin beds. There is an ensuite off the main bedroom and a second bathroom providing separate facilities. Some rooms feature a spa bath on request only, otherwise the bathroom features separate shower and bath or shower over bath. These apartments also include washing machine and dryer, ironing facilities, hair dryer, Plasma panel TV’s, Austar and DVD player and a huge balcony with outdoor setting.

Three Bedroom Apartment: 3 bedroom apartments are situated mainly on the first and second floor with the exception of a few located on the ground floor. These very spacious holiday villas with modern open plan living feature all new furnishings and large balconies with beautiful garden or pool views. All apartments are fully self-contained, feature king or twin beds in all bedrooms with large kitchens boasting granite bench tops, dishwashers, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, and fully equipped laundry. There is an ensuite off the main bedroom and a second bathroom providing separate facilities. In summer the crowds may flock to the wide sandy beaches of the Gold Coast but, it is also the perfect time to venture inland and explore all the beauty the hinterland has to offer. Closed in 2017 due to Tropical Cyclone, Debbie, the resort is back!  Daydream Island is a nice and compact island, one kilometre in length and 400 metre-wide so you can walk around the island or grab a kayak and circumnavigate for an alternative view. There is great snorkelling just off the beach and of course, it is a great launchpad if you wanted to explore some of the other 73 islands of the Whitsundays.
