Gorgeous Phuket is renowned for its relaxed island vibes, easygoing locals and rich culture, but there's another attraction this Thailand paradise is even more famous for - the absolutely stunning beaches.

If you're planning a holiday to Phuket, spending a day or two simply lounging on the crystal clear sands at the beach is an absolute must. Here are some of the most gorgeous beaches the area has to offer:

Banana Rock Beach

This pristine and untouched stretch of sand is a hidden gem of Thailand. It's relatively unknown according to, so hunt it down for yourself and enjoy a sunny day in luxury on gloriously white sands, sparkling turquoise waters, and a lush fringe of tropical trees.

Ao Sane (Jungle Beach)

The golden sand stretches in a gentle curve along the waters edge, and the water is calm and tranquil. There's a small restaurant, cute beach chairs and umbrellas, and even a small bar. It would be easy to spend an entire day on these gorgeous and expansive sands!
