Okay so you're probably ready to do all the classic tropical island activities in Hawaii - tanning on the beach, snorkelling the reefs and surfing the waves, that is. Those are some amazing things to look forward to, but if you're going to be there for more than a couple of days, then you probably want to sprinkle in some other outings so you can say you did it all.
But what if you need some more concrete activities to look forward to? Well, life doesn't stop when you step into paradise so why not partake in some of your go-to activities that you would at home? Why not check out a concert? Even if your favourite musician isn't coming when you're there, it's still fun to go check out a new artist. Who knows, maybe you'll have a new favourite musician by the end of the night!
Check out these amazing venues in Hawaii where you can get your groove on.
Located in Kapiolai Park in Honolulu, the Waikiki Shell is a stunning open-air concert venue. And yes, it really does look like a giant seashell! You can lounge at the beach or in the park all day and then head to this picturesque music hall. It's hard to beat the experience of being serenaded by some amazing music under the setting Hawaiian sun, isn't it?
Oceanic VIP Music Hall
The title suggests that this venue would be for VIPs only, but don't worry, all are welcome! This concert hall does, however, attract some serious VIP music talent, so there's a good chance you'll be in town at the same time as one of your favourite musicians. This is more of a traditional concert venue, so the atmosphere will vary based on who's in town.
Rock a Hula
You need to check out this venue so you can experience all the fun Hawaiian traditions. Rock a Hula puts on theatrical shows of everything from hula dancing to fire-knife dancing and tributes to great musicians like Elvis. There are a couple of show packages you can pick from to tailor your experience that includes a terrace luau, stageside VIP and green room treats.
So go ahead, book those tickets and head to one of these awesome venues in time to catch the opening act! Hawaii is the place to experience all kinds of music!
