Hidden beaches in Bali

Bali is home to some simply stunning beaches. Feel like you're in on a great secret and check out these hidden beaches on your next getaway.

Balangan Beach

This is a great spot for surfers and is said to be one of the most beautiful beaches on the Bukit Peninsula.

People from all over the world come to test out these waves - which vary from huge swells to more easy rides.

Even if you aren't a surfer, you're sure to enjoy the stunningly clear waters and velvety soft sand. After you've cooled off and frolicked in the ocean with your little ones, enjoy a Balinese meal at one of the small local restaurants. They offer authentic and completely tasty dishes.

Perasi Beach

Perasi Beach is a stretch of white sand between the two hills, where the villages of Bugbug and Perasi reside. This pristine natural wonder has picturesque views of the rocky islet Gili Biaha and the water is a vibrant blue.

The area exudes peace and calm, with gentle waves and a collection of boulders where you can go and adventure with your kids.

This lovely hideaway has many nicknames, affectionately given by locals and visitors alike - these include White Sand Beach, Virgin Beach and Hidden Beach.

Here you'll find locally-run restaurants and cafes, where you can grab a bite to eat at the end of a relaxing day swimming and enjoying the sun.

Amed Beach

This beach passes by seven lovely fishing villages, including Kemeluk, Lipah and Aas. Because of this, you'll see many fishers using traditional methods on these beaches and out in the sea.

Take the opportunity to go for a dive, as the flat bottom lagoon and coral reef are perfect for this adventure activity. You'll see cardinal fish, tiger fish, black snapper and so much more. Hang around to see the sunset, as it's truly magical.
