Tropicana Las Vegas

Las Vegas has a reputation for brimming with glitz and glamour, with more casinos than you'll know what to do with. There comes a time in every Vegas visitor's stay, however, when they want to return to a comfortable hotel room to rest their weary heads (and wallets!) ahead of the next big day.

That hotel may just be Tropicana Las Vegas, a hotel and casino that has recently undergone a $200 million transformation to become one of the best casino hotels located on the Strip. Every single room and suite has been redesigned to reflect the bright and breezy nature of the hotel, complete with custom furnishings and top of the line amenities.

The property features its own 50,000 square foot casino, offering all your classic Las Vegas slot and table games, plus many other outstanding features. That means you never have to leave the building!

Tropicana has scooped the coveted TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence award, along with the Travelocity Excellence reward for two years running. Plenty more awards and recognition have been given to the hotel and its casino and restaurants, and it's really something you have to see to believe. What's even better is that it's affordable for people on every budget.

The fun doesn't stop there, either. If you've come to Las Vegas craving top quality food, you won't even have to step outside the front door. Bacio, an onsite Italian restaurant, has awards for its outstanding cuisine. Biscayne is steakhouse that features aged steaks and an exquisite wine list, while those travellers who find themselves a bit peckish after a night on the tiles may want to check out Beach Cafe, a 24 hour restaurant offering indoor and outdoor dining. Alternatively, let Tropicana cater to you with an in-room dining menu to die for!

Las Vegas

Las Vegas is located in Nevada, and has desert climate. It is known for its entertainment and casinos, and has earned it the title of Sin City.

It's one of the most famous cities in the world, and certainly one of the most provocative. You probably think you know what it's all about, but spend a little time getting to know this fun town and you'll discover that it still holds much that will surprise you. To begin with, as fabulous as the casinos are, you don't actually need to throw your money into a slot machine or onto a roulette wheel to have a good time. Check out any one of a number of amazing live shows from Cirque du Soleil to Penn and Teller, or go window shopping (and celebrity spotting) in the many luxury brand boutiques. Just 30 miles out of town you'll find the Hoover Dam, a massive piece of engineering that seeks to control the Colorado River. Be sure to add on a trip to the Grand Canyon to see what this river is capable of and you'll realise what a huge undertaking the dam is: like Vegas itself, it's an example of what mankind can achieve with plenty of money and a good imagination.
